Slideshow : what the integration of Yahoo! Calendar in Yahoo! Mail may look like. Those are pictures posted by a Yahoo! user who previously published tips that we reprinted over here few days ago. Given how the address book has been worked out in the beta, those screenshots look quite realistic. Not sure those are official for sure though

★ Yahoo! News : the invisible beta ?

When receiving this tip about the Yahoo! News Beta, I was quite stunned to see that nobody ever talked about it. In fact, I’m the only to have left some feedbacks in the suggestions forums.

So I’m wondering : is this super old news ? Well from what I’ve seen, the last beta of the product dates back to october 2008 and looks nothing like we have now.

There does not seem to be any links inviting users to test out the product either and the funny thing is that in India, the “old” version bears the beta sign !!

Well, it could simply be that no one has noticed the beta so far… Yeh but… if you refer to Yahoo! Help, the article was written on… October 19th, that’s nearly three weeks old! Also this article has a non functional URL that should be pointing to the Suggestions Board but instead redirects you to some internal beta version of those forums… Oh my! My head is hurting right now and I just don’t know what to make out of all this.

★ Yahoo! News soon to get a facelift

A tip told us that Yahoo! Canada is currently testing a new version of Yahoo! News. No pun intended but that’s a really good news as the site really needed an upgrade. You can test it out here : http://beta.ca.news.yahoo.com

Update: In fact Yahoo! US is also testing the beta available at
