★ Read your social networks in Yahoo Mail
Yesterday i mentioned a new application under work powered by Sobees. It’s currently available in the United Kingdom so everyone can access it by setting their Yahoo! account to return UK content and then installing it in Yahoo! Mail. You may reset your Yahoo! account to your favorite location.
The apps, renamed “My Social Networks”, looks like Tweetdeck and is presented with one two, three or more columns. More advanced layouts are preconfigured. The app is currently compatible with Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. You may also choose to display live updates from certain topics.
The only problem i see is that it requires the Silverlight plugin to be installed on your computer. This technology is not fully compatible with the Chrome browser (Silverlight 4 should correct this). it works well in Safari though.
