Yahoo Media honcho Jimmy Pitaro is expected to leave the company. The report, first reported by All Things D’s Kara Swisher, comes after his boss, Yahoo chief executive Carol Bartz, told an audience at a Goldman Sachs conference last week that the media has made too grand a deal out of the recent rash of executive departures at Yahoo. In fact, according to Business Insider’s Nicholas Carlson, she said, ‘I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to my assistant and said, ‘Do you know who this person is,’ and they’re about six layers down.”
